What earned the nomination
The Agentic Data Layer is Nextatlas' answer to a question the insights industry has been slow to ask: what happens when AI tools run on data that was never built for foresight. General-purpose AI assistants are trained on public information, which means they can summarise what is already known but cannot surface what has not happened yet. The Agentic Data Layer closes that gap by putting Nextatlas' proprietary early-adopter intelligence directly inside the AI tools research teams already rely on, through an MCP connector, a REST API, and custom enterprise endpoints.
The result is foresight that travels. A researcher can ask a question inside Claude or another AI assistant and get an answer grounded in a decade of verified behavioural signals, documented lead times, and quantified accuracy, without opening a separate dashboard or waiting for a report.
